The commune is located in the Queyras.

The Col d'Izoard is on the commune's northern border.

Brunissard, la Chalp and Arvieux, the main hamlets in the commune, lie in the valley of the Torrent de la Rivière (Stream of the River), which flows south through the commune, then flows into the Guil, which forms the commune's southeastern border.
