Arthur Rowley (1870 – unknown) was an English footballer.

Playing career

Rowley played for Leek, Distillery, the North Staffordshire Regiment, Stoke and Bristol Rovers before joining Burslem Port Vale in September 1902. He made 69 appearances (57 in the league) and scored 4 league goals, one of which made him the first to score a goal straight from a direct free kick in the Football League on 7 September 1903, against Bolton Wanderers before leaving the club before the start of the 1904–05 season.[1]
