Artegna (Friulian: Dartìgne, German: Artingen, Slovene: Ratenja) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 80 km northwest of Trieste and about 20 km northwest of Udine. As of 2008[update], it had a population of 2.951 and an area of 11.2 km².[1]
Artegna borders the following municipalities: Buja, Gemona del Friuli, Magnano in Riviera, Montenars, Treppo Grande.
