Artabazanes

Artabazanes of Media Atropatene (fl. 221 BCE) was a ruler of the Persian Atropatene kingdom of Armenia. He ruled 221 BCE or 220 BCE, and was contemporary of Antiochus III the Great.

Artabazanes was presumably of Iranian lineage and was said to be the son of one of Darius II’s four sons by the daughter of Gobryas prior to his accession.[1][2][3]
