Armuchee High School is a public high school grades 9-12 in Rome, Georgia. It is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission, by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and is a member of Georgia High School Association. It is located in Floyd County Northwest of Atlanta.

Armuchee offers academic curriculum meeting the Georgia Department of Education's Office of Standards, Instruction and Assessment in the following departments: Computers, English, Fine Arts, Foreign Language, Freshmen Academy, Home Economics/Consumer Science, Mathematics, Physical Education, Science, Social Science, Special Education and Trade Education such as Automobile, Carpentry/Construction, Cisco (IT), Electricity, Graphic Communication, Healthcare, Horticulture, Industry, Metals and SPICE. Armuchee offers Advance Placement (AP) classes and classes through Georgia Highlands College. The school program degrees are in honors college preparatory, college preparatory and career & technology. [2][3]

Armuchee High offers many sports including: Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading (competition, football, basketball), Cross Country, Football, Golf, Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Swimming & Diving, Tennis, Track & Field, Volleyball, and Wrestling.
Armuchee's main rival is Model High School. Coosa High School and Rome High School have became big soccer rivalries for the boys varsity team. Armuchee has been successful in baseball, girls basketball, competition cheerleading, boys/girls cross country, boys/girls golf, boys lacrosse, boys/girls soccer, softball, boys/girls tennis, girls track. Armuchee Football was one of the top programs in the state in 90s but fell on a downhill in 2001, but has been on a raise since 2005. Wrestling at Armuchee is notorious for winning state championships. Named the decade wrestling school in the 80s. Armuchee has numerous state titles in Wrestling.
