ArcSoft, Inc. is a computer software development company that makes multimedia technologies and applications across desktop and embedded platforms. ArcSoft works primarily with original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and offers digital imaging and video solutions. Most of the company’s software is bundled with new mobile phones, digital cameras, personal computers, image scanners, and computer printers. Additionally, ArcSoft develops embedded software for electronic imaging products.[1]

ArcSoft was established in 1994 and is headquartered in Fremont, California, with regional commercial and development facilities in Europe and Asia, specifically Taipei, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Tokyo.[2] Michael Deng, ArcSoft's CEO, founded the company with $150,000 in funding from family and friends.
