Anyama is a suburb of the Côte d'Ivoire capital of Abidjan, lying around 20 km (10 mi) north of the city. It has its own football club, the Rio Sport d'Anyama, and a population of roughly 100,000. Ivory coast football internationals Gervinho and Arouna Koné were born in Anyama.
