Anthiro (Greek: Ανθηρό) is a Greek mountain village located 75 km west of Karditsa in the western part of the Karditsa regional unit. Anthiro is the seat of the municipality of Argithea. Anthiro had a population of 498 in 2001. Anthiro is located 60 km west of Karditsa, 50 km from Mouzaki and 36 km south of Pyli Trikalon. Anthiro is connected in the narrow-laned treacherous GR-30 (Arta - Karditsa).
Its residents are based in agriculture which includes honey production. In the village features a museum. Near the village has the Korakos bridge which was built in the 12th century and the Kleftovryssi and Stavro bridges.
