Anobit is an Israeli manufacturer of flash memory. The firm was founded in 2006, and boasts a portfolio of 95 patents. It is headquartered in Herzliya, with an American office in Marlborough, Massachusetts.[1]
Anobit was purchased in December 2011 by Apple Inc. for a reported $500 million dollars, the single largest acquisition in Apple history.[2]
