Angelis Vertzos (Greek: Άγγελος Βέρτζος, born 27 May 1983) is a professional Greek football player, currently playing as a defender for Doxa Drama in the Greek Superleague.[1]
He played the majority of his career in the Beta and Gamma Ethniki championships. However, on 2011, his team Doxa Drama were promoted to the Greek Superleague as a result of the Koriopolis scandal,[2] despite finishing 3rd in the promotion playoffs of the previous year.
