Andy Michner (born October 27, 1968, Ann Arbor, Michigan), is a former driver in the Indy Racing League IndyCar Series. Michner attempted to qualify for the 1996 Indianapolis 500 in a 1991 Lola chassis. He returned to the series in 1998 and captured his career finish was an eighth place in his first race, the 1998 Indianapolis 500. He then drove the difficult Riley & Scott chassis for Brant Motorsports in four late season races and the first three races of 1999. He attempted to qualify for the 1999 Indianapolis 500 for Byrd Racing but failed to make the field. He was named to a Logan Racing entry to two races in 2000 but the car did not appear at either race.[1]
In 1996 Michner planned to run a partial season in the Craftsman Truck Series. However, after sponsorship problems Michner only competed in the season finale at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
