Andrzej Ziemiański

Andrzej Ziemiański (February 17, 1960 in Wrocław, Poland) is a Polish science fiction writer and columnist.

He twice won the Janusz A. Zajdel Award in the 'short story' class: in 2001 for Autobahn nach Poznań and in 2003 for Zapach szkła (The Scent of Glass).

His life-glorifying works most often describe persons living in permanent or unexpected danger, but trying to survive and win. He became popular with his three-volume fantasy novel Achaja.
