Andriy Ivanovych Sadovyi (Ukrainian: Андрій Іванович Садовий, Andríj Ivanovych Sadovýj) is a Ukrainian politician. He is the mayor of Lviv, the administrative center of the Lviv Oblast of western Ukraine.

Andriy Sadovyi was born on August 19, 1968 in the city of Lviv. In 1987 he graduated at the L’viv Technical School of Radioelectronics. In the following years he got three other degrees. He graduated the Lviv Polytechnic State University, having obtained a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology in 1995 and an economic degree in Finance and Credits in 1997. In 1999, he graduated from the Academy of State Governance under the auspices of the President of Ukraine, having acquired MA. During 1987-1989, he did military service in the army of the USSR.

His first employment was in 1989: he worked as an adjuster of radio-electronic devices at the Lvivprylad Manufacturers. In 19921995 he was a deputy director of the Lviv branch of Social Adaptation of Youth Fund under the auspices of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

In 19972005 he was the Chairman and Head of the Board of joint-stock company Pivden'zakhidelectromerezhbud. In 19972001 he is was the Head of the Board of the Lviv District Development Fund. In 20022003 Sadovyi is a Director of the Lviv Development Institute that publishes the Ukrainian-wide Misto journal. Since 2002, Sadovyi is the Head of the Board of the joint-stock Radio&TV company TRK Lux. Since 2005 he is the Head of social organization Samopomich.

Andriy Sadovyi has been engaged in social activity since 1997. He is a founder and the Head of a Board of the social organization Lviv Development Institute, Head of the Management Council of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptyts’kyi Art and Culture Fund of Greek Church of Ukraine (2000—2002), member of Ukrainian-Polish Cooperation Capitul. In 2003, he was elected a deputy head of the "Mosty na Skhid" Institute Council (Poland). On March 26, 2006 Sadovyi was elected the city mayor of Lviv.

He is married to Kateryna Kit-Sadova and has four sons: Ivan, Tadey, Mykhailo and Yosyp.

Andryi Sadovyi was a member of Our Ukraine until 2010.

On October 31, 2010 he was re-elected for a second term to the post of mayor of Lviv.[2][3]
