Andreas Biermann (born 13 September 1980 in Berlin[1]) is a German footballer who last played for FC St. Pauli.
He made his debut on the professional league level in the 2. Bundesliga for FC St. Pauli on 10 March 2008 when he started in a game against TSV 1860 München.[2]
On 19 November 2009 he announced that he suffered from depression and attempted suicide in October.[3] He currently receives inpatient treatment.[4]
