The Amity Institute of Biotechnology (AIB) is part of Amity University, a private university in India. AIB was established in August 2001 and is situated in the Amity campus in Sector 125 at New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA).

Amity Institute of Biotechnology is part of the 60-acre (240,000 m2) campus of Amity University, located in Sector-125 NOIDA on the Greater Noida Expressway, adjacent to the offices of HCL Technologies and Perot Systems.
The institute covers the four-storey J-3 Block of the campus. The building face the one of largest building in Amity, the 'E' block (Amity School of Engineering).
Amity University also has a campus in Lucknow which was operational from September 2004

The institute's Undergraduate Youth Council (AUYC) has all the undergraduate students of AIB as its members. The council is the apex body at the institute level which is responsible for conducting the annual fest UROOJ. The committees of AUYC are Core Coordination Committee, Treasurer, Literary Committee, Technical Committee,Social Committee and Sports Committee.
