- ^† Replaced the original Contender, who was forced to retire after suffering an injury. Jessie Adams suffered a knee injury in Powerball, while Adam Levin suffered a torn ACL in Powerball.
- ^1 Anthony Abbatemarco's time was incorrectly displayed on the clock graphic at the bottom of the screen. The announced and published time of 2:10 was later determined to be correct.
- ^2 Molivann Duy was incorrectly listed with a time of 3:13 and Monica Carlson with a time of 2:20 on the scoreboard shown after preliminary round 5.
- ^3 Alex Rai was defeated in Hang Tough, the first event of the night. Despite receiving no score for the event as a result, his score was erroneously reported as 1 point. This inadvertently spoiled the outcome of the next event; Rai was picked off after firing the first weapon in Assault, accounting for the single point.
- ^4 In preliminary round 6, on the men's Hit and Run, Mark Baker had not yet crossed the bridge once, but the graphic said he had scored 2 points. After he pressed the button, the score did not change and stayed at 2 points.
Season 2 (May-August 2008)
In Season 2, the six men and six women with the fastest winning times in the Eliminator advanced to the semifinals, where matchups were determined by seeding based on the preliminary Eliminator results. After three semifinal rounds, the two men and two women with the fastest winning Eliminator times in the semifinals advanced to the finals.[1]

The numbers in parentheses indicate the ranking based on the Eliminator time from the previous round.
- ^† Replaced the original Contender. Nikki Key suffered an ankle injury during Pyramid; Alexander Coats further aggravated his dislocated finger during the semifinal that he suffered in the Preliminaries, and was replaced by Brick Reilly, the fastest non-qualifying winner.
- ^1 Contender was unable to finish the Eliminator.
- ^2 Davis' time was incorrectly listed as 9:42 on the post-game chart after Round 3 in the Preliminaries, and on the scoreboard page on the official website; the time listed is the time announced on-air.
- ^3 During Round 1 in the Semi-Finals, both contenders' scores were incorrectly displayed during the Atlasphere event. The on-screen display for both contenders showed four points, but the final result was Ally Davidson with two and Vanessa Warren with zero.
