Ambrosio Boccanegra

Ambrosio Boccanegra (died 1373) was an Italian admiral born in the Republic of Genoa in Italy, who served the Crown of Castile as a Castilian admiral during the Hundred Years' War. He commanded the Castilian-French forces in their defeat of the English at the Battle of La Rochelle in 1372.[1]
