Ambehta

Ambehta is a town and a nagar panchayat in Saharanpur district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

As of 2001^[update] India census,^[1] Ambehta had a population of 13,103. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Ambehta has an average literacy rate of 41%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with 48% of the males and 32% of females literate. 20% of the population is under 6 years of age.
