Amarillo Independent School District
Amarillo Independent School District is a school district that is based in the city of Amarillo, Texas, United States.
Amarillo ISD covers about 70 square miles (180 km2) of land in Randall County and Potter County. In the 2009-2010 academic term, nearly 32,000 students were enrolled.
Amarillo ISD serves the city of Amarillo.
In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]
