Amana Melome is an American and Italian singer and songwriter.

Born in Germany but raised around the world,[1] Amana Melome is singer, songwriter and Italian celebrity who sings in Italian, French, German, and English. Having grown up exposed to the music of her Euro-Caribbean-American roots,[2] Amana followed in the footsteps of her grandfather Jimmy Woode, the youngest musician in Duke Ellington’s band.[3]

Amana moved to America to pursue music, where she met Saverio “Sage” Principini[4] and recorded her first album- Indigo Red. Following the American and European release of her record, Amana was headlining festivals[5] and clubs, performing for private events[6] for Fendi and Christian Dior before she landed herself a lead role on the most popular sitcom on national TV: Un medico in famiglia.[7]

Amana recently completed the recording of her new album, Phoenix Rising,[8] in Los Angeles at the Henson Recording Studios in Hollywood. Amana Melome's music is said[9] to evoke the jazz roots of her family with a sound that is a mix[10] of neo-soul, funk, jazz, folk and reggae.
