Alofitai often simply named Alofi is a village in Wallis and Futuna. It is located on the northwestern coast of Alofi Island. It belongs to the chiefdom of Alo. In 2003 it had a population of 2 people but according to the 2008 census there is now only 1 person living permanently there.[1] The village is a base for tobacco production on the virtually uninhabited island. It has a small chapel because on Sundays the Futunans visit the island.
