Alness Academy (Scottish Gaelic: Acadamaidh Alanais) is a high school located in Alness, Highland in the north on the Cromarty Firth of Scotland. Built in 1970s, it is one of the main schools in Ross-Shire, with around about 600 pupils all in. Has a rugby, football and hockey team.
In 2008, the school won a Gold Award in Scotland's Health at Work program. It was the first school in the Highlands and the fifth in Scotland to win the top award.[1]
