Alnavar ( ALNAVARA in Kannada )is a panchayat town in Dharwad district in the state of Karnataka, India.
The place is famous for raw mangoes produced,used for making pickles. The raw mangoes are plucked when they are tender ,which give distinct taste to pickles as compared to others.The raw mangoes produced here are known by name "Appi Midi " in local language Kannada.
