Alizai is a village in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan, located near the Durand Line border with Afghanistan.[1] There are three places named Alizai in the Kurram Agency, but this article refers to Alizai in the Lower Kurram Agency.

It is occupied by the Turi Tribe. There are Shia and Sunni Muslims in Alizai. It is considered a peaceful place in the Kurram Agency although some civil unrest took place recently. The United States has maintained detention facilities in Alizai, Pakistan. It is rumoured that this site has been used to torture prisoners.[2][3]
