Algarvia (from Algarve + ia) is a civil parish in the municipality of Nordeste, on the island of São Miguel in the Portuguese Azores.
On July 16, 2002, the parish was split from Nordestinho and also created Santo António de Nordestinho and São Pedro de Nordestinho.
It is connected with a road linking to Ribeira Grande - Nordeste. The mountains are to the south.
Algarvia has a school, and a square (praça).
The region is primarily known for agricultural activities, although some local-oriented commercial shops do exist.
