Alfred Jones (born in Detroit, MI) is a former professional boxer.

Jones won the National Golden Gloves Middleweight Championship in 1965 with a win over Dave Matthews of Buffalo, NY.
Jones went on to win the bronze medal in the 1968 Summer Olympics at 165 pounds.
Known as "Tiger Cat", Jones turned pro in 1969 and won his first 12 fights, but lost in 1971 by KO to Dave Thach. Jones retired after the loss.
