Alejandro García Casañas (born 14 January 1970 in Barcelona, Spain) is a retired Spanish professional footballer who played as a defender, and a current coach.
He was mainly associated to FC Barcelona during his career - although he appeared rarely for the first team, and only amassed La Liga totals of 22 games without any goals for Rayo Vallecano.

Garcia joined FC Barcelona's youth system at the age of 14. After playing 9 years for Blaugrana's different youth teams, he left the club in 1993 and resumed his career with Rayo Vallecano and Palamos CF. With the latter, in the 1993–94 season, he experienced his best La Liga season, appearing in 22 games.
Until his retirement in 2001 at the age of 31, Garcia played five seasons in the third level, with Cadiz CF, Granada CF and Gimnàstic de Tarragona.
After retirement Garcia begun coaching, being in charge of youth sides at FC Barcelona.
In late June 2011, nearly two years after leaving the youth teams of Catalans, Garcia was appointed at FC Dinamo Tbilisi, replacing fired Kakha Kacharava.[1]
