Alberbury is a village in Shropshire, England, located 9 miles north-west of Shrewsbury. Alberbury Castle is at the centre of the village as is Loton Hall and the attached deer park.[1] The River Severn runs just north of the village. Most of the village is within a designated conservation area[2] and there is newly built village hall. At the village hall there are meetings of the Women's Institute and the Young Farmers' Club. Alberbury is home to Loton Park Hillclimb, run by Hagley and District Light Car Club.
At Christmas 2008 the village made regional news due to a spectacular Christmas lights display put on at a local farm.[3]
