Alan V. Tishman

Alan Valentine Tishman (12 October 1917 – January 13, 2004) was a Jewish American[1] real estate developer. He was the head of Tishman Management and Leasing Corporation.

He helped bring coop apartment ownership to New York City and was one of the first brokers to bring office tenants to Park Avenue.[2]

His political activism landed him on the master list of Nixon political opponents. He was a trustee of the American Museum of Natural History and served as vice president of the UJA Federation.[3]
