Ainhoa Tirapu de Goñi is a football goalkeeper who plays for Athletic Bilbao.

She began her career in SD Lagunak and CF Puebla before signing at 21 for Athletic Bilbao, which had just won their third Superliga in a row. She played her first match for Athletic in the 2005-06 UEFA Women's Cup's qualifying stage, a 6-2 victory over Glasgow City.[1]

From 2006 she was Athletic's first-choice goalkeeper, and the following year she became a member of the Spanish national team. She debuted in the second game in the 2009 Euro qualifying's second match, a 2-2 draw against the Czech Republic,[2] and remained the first-choice goalkeeper for the rest of the stage. She retained the position in the 2011 World Cup qualifying.[3]

Tirapu has won one Spanish league with Athletic, in 2007.
