Ahuiateteo or Macuiltonaleque are the five gods of excess and pleasure. They also represent the dangers that come along with these. These five Gods were also invoked by diviners and mystics. The five gods are Macuilcozcacuauhtli (Five Vultures), the god of gluttony, Macuilcuetzpalin (Five Lizards), Macuilmalinalli (Five Grass), Macuiltochtli (Five Rabbits), the god of drunkeness and Macuilxochitl (Five Flowers), the god of gambling and music and an aspect of Xochipili.
