Ahmed H. al-Rahim

Ahmed H. al-Rahim is assistant professor Islamic studies in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Virginia. He was born in Lebanon to an Iraqi family, but was raised in the United States. He received his doctorate from Yale University with a dissertation on post-Avicennan philosophy. He was a lecturer in classical Arabic language and literature at Harvard University.
