Ahmad Moqbel Zarar

Ahmad Moqbel Zarar from Parwan province is the Minister of Counter Narcotics in the Afghan Ministry of Counter Narcotics^[1]. Zarar was the former Minister of the Interior until he was succeeded by Mohamad Hanif Atmar.^[2]

Moqbel served as the deputy Interior Minister. When his predecessor Ali Ahmad Jalali resigned, on September 28, 2005, Moqbel was appointed the acting minister.^[3]
