Ahmad Al Salih (Arabic: أحمد الصالح) (born 20 May 1990 in Amuda, Syria) is a Syrian footballer. He currently plays for Al-Jaish, which competes in the Syrian Premier League the top division in Syria. He plays as a defender, wearing the number 2 jersey for Al-Jaish and for the Syrian national football team he wears the number 15 shirt.
Club career
Al Salih began his professional career with Syrian Premier League club Al-Jaish. He joined the senior squad on 2008.[1]
International career
Al Salih was a part of the Syrian U-17 national team in the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup in South Korea. He plays against Argentina, Spain and Honduras in the group-stage of the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup and he scored one goal against Honduras in the third match of the group-stage.[2]
Al Salih was selected to Valeriu Tiţa's 23-man final squad for the 2011 AFC Asian Cup in Qatar,[3] but he not played in any of the three Syrian group games.
