The Agrafiotis River (Greek: Potamos Agrafiotis) is a river/stream that flows entirely in the Evrytania prefecture in Greece. The river owes its name to Agrafa, the mountainous region where it flows. The river begins in the North of the prefecture and passes into a valley filled with only traces of farmlands, beautiful pine and spruce trees and its natural beauty. Being crossed by a few stone bridges, it passes through the Municipality of Agrafa and East of Palaiokatafga near its third major road of the prefecture which is next to Tripotamo - named as so for its three rivers flowing with the Acheloos. The river empties into Kremasta Reservoir, which is drained by the river Acheloos. The Kremasta Reservoir is the largest in Greece. It is named after a greek god
Before construction began in 1967, the Kremasta reservoir was the tributary of the Acheloos and the Megdova rivers. The construction of the lake extended the flow approximately two kilometres further North when it was complete in the early- to mid-1970s.
