Adrián Ochoa Quintana (born March 7, 1954) has been the second counselor in general presidency of the Young Men organization of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) since April 2009.
Ochoa was born in San Francisco, California to Eduardo and Consuelo Ochoa. He was raised primarily in Los Angeles, California and Chihuahua, Mexico. As a young man, Ochoa served as a public affairs missionary for the LDS Church in Mexico.
Ochoa has worked in advertising and marketing in both the United States and Mexico. For much of his career, Ochoa ran a production company based in Monterrey, Mexico. He holds a bachelor's degree from Universidad Regiomontana and a diploma in Business from Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.
In 2004, became the president of the Honduras San Pedro Sula Mission of the LDS Church from 2004 to 2007. He has also been an area seventy and has been a counselor in the Mexico North Area presidency.[1] Ochoa has also been a branch president, an area public affairs director, and from 1987 to 1995 was the president of the Monterrey Mexico Mitras Stake.
In April 2009, Ochoa was selected by David L. Beck to be Beck's second counselor in the general presidency of the LDS Church's Young Men organization.
Ochoa married Nancy Villareal in the Mexico City Temple. They are the parents of five children and as of 2009 were living in Highland, Utah.
