Adjumani is a town in Northern Uganda. It is the 'chief town' of Adjumani District and the district headquarters are located there.

Adjumani is located approximately 125 kilometres (78 mi), by road, northeast of Arua, the largest city in the sub-region. [1] This location lies approximately 440 kilometres (270 mi), north of Kampala, the capital of Uganda and the largest city in that country.[2] The coordinates of the town are:03 23 04N, 31 46 55E (Latitude:3.3845; Longitude:31.7820).
The 2002 national population census estimated the population of Adjumani at about 19,900. In 2008, the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS), estimated the population of the town at 28,700.[3] In 2011, UBOS estimated the mid-year population of Adjumani at 34,700.[4]
