Adipapam aka Aadhya Paapom (English: First Sin) is a 1988 Malayalam softcore biblical film directed by P. Chandrakumar and featuring Abhilasha in the lead role. The film is actually made as a family drama based on the biblical story of Adam and Eve. The lead characters appear completely nude in the film. It went on to become a box office blockbuster in Kerala theatres and is usually regarded by film historians as Kerala's first super hit pornographic film. The film, made at a budget of 750,000, grossed around 25 million.[1] It inspired a series of similar productions in the next few years. Director P. Chandrakumar went on to direct eight more porn films and Abhilasha became the most demanded actor in B-grade movies of that time.[2]
