Adhiyamaan College of Engineering commonly called as ACE or AERI is one of the top and largest(in terms of area) engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu, India.

The institution is spread over a sprawling campus of over 300 acres with calm and conducive climatic sur roundings. The colllege, started in 1987, is one of the educational institutions developed by Adhiyamaan Educational and Research Institution Trust.
It is the first engineering college to be started in the most backward Dharmapuri District of the State of Tamilnadu. It was originally affiliated to University of Madras. When Periyar University was carved out from the University of Madras, the colleges affiliation was changed to it. When the government of Tamilnadu brought all the engineering and technical institutions in the State under one technological university in 2001, Adhiyamaan College of Engineering was affiliated to Anna University of Technology,Coimbatore
The college is housed on the Adhiyamaan Educational and Research Institutions campus, Dr.M.G.R Nagar, Hosur. The campus is spread over 250 acres abutting National Highway NH-7.
The college is situated in Hosur at , Tamil Nadu, India. The institution is six km from Hosur bus stand and railway station. The institution is well connected to railway junctions at Hosur, Jolarpet and Bangalore.The college is mainly appreciated for its tie-ups with several leading industries in Chennai and Bangalore.

The College library in ACE is the second largest library in INDIA which is now having a modern and new Digital Centralised library which is one of its kind in Tamil Nadu The library has numerous books under various titles respective to the needs of the students. The library is fully computerized and can be accessed using the OPAC system, which enables the students to search the required book by specifying the author name or title or keywords and it facilitates the users to reserve the books they want, to know the status of particular book & also the status of the user. The Reference Section of the college library is well provided with various books with respect to the user's needs.The Reference section also has reprography facility & online book Search system. It has a separate Reader's Section for reading the Newspapers (has more than 30 dailies of 7 Languages). The reference section has a seating capacity of 500 at a time to refer the books on recent trends.
ACE college campus is fully equipped with round the clock internet facility with a speed of 16 mbps, in collaboration with BSNL networks. The node facility is available for the entire campus including the hostels. The high end computing nodes are in the network of ACE through which simultaneously many users can access any of the servers in additions to other users from their department through campus network. About 5 users can simultaneously access the facilities of ACE from their departments. Since all the machines in ACE are connected using normal twisted cable, one can access any resource from any node in the campus. A variety of software is also made available to the students and the users.
There are three hostels Pennar , Cauvery and Bhavani with all facilities for the students. The Pennar and Cauvery hostels are for the boys; Pennar is for the junior students and Cauvery for the senior students. The Bhavani hostel is for the girls. The hostels have a highly modernized kitchen to provide wholesome food to the students. They have library sections with books for all departments as well as technical and non-technical magazines. Computer labs and recreation rooms are available here. Facilities for sports are also available.
Mr. N. Stalin Jeya Kumar working as Physical Director, possesses M.P.Ed., M.Phil., N.I.S. He is specialized in Football. He is actively involved in producing eminent sports personalities from the Adhiyamaan College of Engg. He is having keen interest in developing and promoting various activities connected with sports.

The College has Students Chapter in ISTE,IIPC,CSI and IET(UK).Multinational companies such as Tata Consultancy Services(TCS),CTS(Cognizant),HCL,WIPRO have accredited ACE to the highest level enabling students to earn higher starting salary scales.
Placement is one of the influential factors for the students preferring this institution.The institution has a separate Training and Placement Cell under the guidance of Mr.Karthigeyan, which give excellent Placement Training Skills helping the college to place almost all the students even before they leave the college. In Academic year 2010-2011 3 top most Multi National Comapanies Visted the college and recruited about half of the eligible students. Cognizant Technology Solutions(CTS) recruited 190 students, Infosys 141, HCL TECH 83.This year(2011-2012) too top tier MNC's Cognizant and HCL visited the campus and recruited more than that of last year. Exact number is not yet released by the college.[1]
ACE is located in India's southern state, Tamil Nadu, between Hosur and Bangalore. It is 35 km from Bengaluru [Bangalore]. The nearest airport is Bengaluru International Airport, (one and half hours drive). Hosur railway station, that serves Hosur, is few km from ACE and accessible by train and road both from Krishnagiri and Bengaluru.
Each academic year is divided into two semesters. Each semester has three internal exams and one final exam (semester exam) for all theory subjects. For laboratory courses there is usually one internal exam followed by the final exam.Most of the exams are theoretical and have practical exams like most other engineering colleges in India.
The college is approved by the University Grants Commission as an autonomous institution and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).[8] It has been given an overall grade of A by NAAC.[1]
