As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 221 people, 84 households, and 63 families residing in the borough. The population density was 838.3 people per square mile (328.2/km²). There were 92 housing units at an average density of 349.0 per square mile (136.6/km²). The racial makeup of the borough was 100.00% White. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.90% of the population.
There were 84 households out of which 33.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.8% were married couples living together, 15.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.0% were non-families. 21.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.40 and the average family size was 2.75.
In the borough the population was spread out with 18.6% under the age of 18, 11.3% from 18 to 24, 25.3% from 25 to 44, 24.0% from 45 to 64, and 20.8% who were 65 years of age or older.
