Adam Sarota (born 28 December 1988) is an Australian football (soccer) player who plays for Utrecht in the Dutch Eredivisie.[1]

Sarota was named National Youth League Player of the Year for 2008-2009.[2] As a result of his solid performances for the Roar youth team, he was rewarded with a first team contract prior to the 2009/2010 A-league season.[3]
On 2 November 2008 he made his A-League debut for the Brisbane Roar against the Newcastle Jets.[4]
On 2 April 2010, along with fellow Roar players, Michael Zullo and Tommy Oar, Sarota joined Dutch side Utrecht on a three-year deal, in a collective transfer deal rumoured to be worth in excess of AU$1.8 Million.[5][6]
On 22 July 2010, Adam made his Utrecht debut coming on in the 70th minute of their away draw to Tirana in the UEFA Europa League.[7]
On 27 August 2010, it was reported FC Utrecht player Adam Sarota has been invited to a training camp by the Polish Football Association. "The 21-year old, who joined the Dutch club from Brisbane Roar in April this year, holds both Australian and Polish passports and is being targeted to join the Poland national team ahead of their upcoming friendly with Australia. Sarota’s father, Tony, emigrated to Australia from Poland 30 years ago but insists he wants his son to play for the Socceroos but said that Poland is an option if new coach Holger Osieck fails to select him for Australia. Sarota received his first Socceroos call up by coach Holger Osieck for a friendly match against Germany, it was played on 27 March 2011.
