Acrocercops astericola is a moth of the Gracillariidae family, known from Canada (Québec and Nova Scotia) and the United States (Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Vermont, Massachusetts and New York).[1]
The hostplants for the species include Aster cordifolius, Aster corymbosus, Aster divaricatus, Aster lateriflorus, Aster novi-belgii, and Inula germanica. The mine has the form of a flat upperside blotch mine.
