The Acer Liquid A1 (S100) is a smartphone manufactured by Acer Inc. of Taiwan. It was launched on 7 December 2009 in the UK.[2] The phone is Acer's first to use the Android operating system, backed by Google.[3] It is also the world's first Android phone to use a Snapdragon processor.[4]

Acer announced their intention to release an update for the Acer Liquid in the first half of 2010 that would upgrade the Android OS 1.6 version to version 2.1 ( Eclair). The update finally came in July 2010.[5]
Acer Liquid E is the second handset designed by Acer Inc. that uses Android operating system 2.1 ( Eclair).[6] The difference between the Acer Liquid E and the Acer Liquid is the quantity of RAM - the Acer Liquid E has 512MB, twice that of the Acer Liquid at 256MB.
In February, 2011, Acer announced the official 2.2 upgrade for Acer Liquid E and Acer Liquid E Ferrari Edition with the new Acer-made Breeze UI

Acer Liquid MT (Metal) is the new Liquid handset released by the company. After some rumors the smartphone was officially unveiled in October 2010.[8] The smartphone runs Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system and it's powered by an 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 processor. It has 512 MB of RAM and 512 MB ROM. The device is capable of 4-finger-multitouch input and has integrated GPS too. It has a 5 MP camera.
Acer Liquid MT is priced around 13,000 to 14,000 in India.[9]
