Acanthosphinx is a genus of moths in the Sphingidae family, containing one species Acanthosphinx guessfeldti. It is known from forests from Sierra Leone to the Congo, Angola, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania and Uganda.[2]
The length of the forewings is 57-70 mm.
The larvae feed on Bridelia micrantha.[3]
