Acanthomorpha

"Acanthomorpha" is also a name for a proposed clade of spiny-rayed Teleostei. It unites the superorders Acanthopterygii, Paracanthopterygii, the doubtfully distinct Polymyxiomorpha and perhaps the disputed Lampridiomorpha and Scopelomorpha.
