Academic dress of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) describes the robes, gowns and hoods which are prescribed for graduates, postgraduate and undergraduate students of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia (RMIT University) and Vietnam (RMIT International University). RMIT academic dress is described as similar to that of the University of Oxford in the UK.[1] The current statute of academic dress was approved by the RMIT Council in 1980.
