Ablution or performing one's ablutions is the act of washing oneself, in particular:

Ablutions are also washing facilities, or a building in which such facilities are located. A modern day example of an "ablution" is a public toilet block.

Other meanings

A certain form of absolution. Known in the Christian community as being 'Absolved' or 'Abluted'. Ablution was once a direct divine source of protestant sectarianism until after Henry VIIII.
