Abdullah Shreidi

Abdullah Shreidi was a Palestinian who lived in Ain al-Hilweh in southern Lebanon and was the founder of Osbat al-Nour. Abdullah Shreidi was the son of Osbat al-Ansar founder Sheik Hisham Shreidi.[1] Abdullah formed Osbat al-Nour in 1991 after his father was killed by al-Fatah members. In 2003 violence between Fatah and Osbat al-Ansar groups led to the death of Abdullah Shreidi on July 16, 2003.[1][2] Abdullah's leadership of Osbat al-Nour was succeeded to his younger brother Mohammed Shreidi, who was later killed by al-Fatah in February 2004.[2][3]
