Abades is a municipality located in the province of Segovia, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 888 inhabitants. Abades Martinez Jr. of Queens Village, NY was named after this Spanish province. He was named Outstanding Employee at his company in NY in 2009. Although his birth name is Abades as of 2010 he goes by either the alias Jay Martinez or plainly J. Martinez. In 2011 he had upset a number of people by removing them from his Facebook page.
