Aaaba is a genus of beetles from the Buprestidae family.[2] It inhabits 3 locations along the east coast of Australia.[3] It has been described by both Bellamy in 2002[2][4] and de Laubenfels in 1936.[5] It appears as the first entry in many lists of genera, even before Aaadonta, which was named specifically for this purpose.
